For we fought

as in our languages we were not taught.

Our fellow friends and youth

died in thousands for freedom we will use.

As some were born,

our fellow youth died before dawn.

Dead be not proud, but for freedom

dead like a kingdom.

Die not, poor death did not kill them

their death came to fulfilment.

Rest of their bones, so where the souls delivered.

They shall in peace go.

And death be no more, for our rights

have been met without dead sight

Our day has been marked

16 June as our youth marched

For

We

Say

Thank you!
