Years ago I was quiet

You forced me to speak

And harshly so

You provoked me

With your words

You stabbed me in the back

You taught me jealousy

You taught me how to mock

I was innocent until you came

You abused in front of me

I had to take action

I had to speak up for them

You killed innocent souls

And I was dying inside

But you can’t change me.
