I still remember us watching the stars at dawn.
I still remember enjoying watching the blue skies.
I still remember not getting tired of walking down the muddy streets in my village.

It was good while it lasted.
I never thought that might fade away, just like lighting.
If I knew I could’ve pleaded for it to not fade,
Because peace was raving, care and love was washed in every single face of every person who lived in the village.

I still can’t believe that all is over, just like that.
Sometimes I tend to believe that we didn’t really deserve it,
The peace, love and joy, was not really ours.
