*WHO WILL MISS ME? * by Makaziwe Gotyana
When Iām gone, no longer here.
When death swallowed me.
No longer hear evil or see evil.
My eyes closed in peace forever.
Who will miss me?
People forget so easily here.
Will they forget like just that?
When I see no sun, breathe no air.
Boxed in the dark.
Who will miss me?
They say life is like a movie.
Surely they will share the memories.
My spirit will live forever.
But, people forget so easily.
Who will miss me?
My legacy will remind them.
Urged soul full of motivation.
Big-hearted such a humble person.
My personality will speak for me.
But, who will miss me?
When Iām gone.
Like external beauty faded.
No longer smiling, so quiet.
My laughter on mute, hear no evil.
But… the question is still here.
Who will miss me?
