I once saw the sun shine bright last night

It shone from a far that it only made a twinkling light

Then another one of its kind walked in but didn’t bring in heat

Only made me warm and feel secure with its words so sweet

Though it was near, it’s light also twinkled

It smiled at me and man I’ve seen such dimples

Showed me it’s true colors and there came about a rainbow

Made me energetic and I’m using that energy to hold onto never letting go

It’s been giving me hope for brighter days in the darkest nights

Turning me into a man without having to fight

A real man for that matter

‘Cause its giving me knowledge which I’m using to conquer

Sometimes I wonder what I’d be if its light never shone on me

Crazy that it says it gets everything it needs to shine from me

From what I see, I never give it enough and it gives me too much

We are in a world of our own which we chose to call love

Security is a must;

not for the sake of pride but we built everything in gold to avoid rust

‘Cause it will lose its name if we lose the TRUST
