Ever since I was a little girl

I also believed in “Fairy tales”

But according to the “adults”

They never existed?

But I always asked myself

Why do they always have to crush ones dream?

So as I grew older I didn’t think back

About what they adults always use to say?

I was always that never minded child

I always use to follow my own dreams?

And I always wanted to become a mermaid

So as I grew older

I learned how technology worked and things

So I started to Google things and things became more exciting

And I found out that they truly exist

And until now I still believe in fairies and mermaids

Because one thing I always told myself

And I don’t care what you say about me?

I’m young and this is my life
