How does a man live in such sin?
That reeks of the dark abyss of death
Enamored of the desires of the flesh that lie within
He revels in the piece that gives him foul breath
Convinced that this piece will not corrupt the others
The pursuit of this meaningless gain continues in secret
For he is fallible just like the others
That sneer and do not see themselves in the same closet
For all these pieces of man were steeped in sin at birth
Which makes living in the light seem and feel unnatural
But at the thought of light his eyes twinkle with mirth
His knees jerk and fall before the Lord and it feels natural
For the Lamb of God brought these pieces together on the cross
And he shall have peace and live as a child of light that embraces its brightness
