Black people…
We’ve always fought amongst ourselves to pick the bone
and keep it.
The very bone without meat.
Like a scavenger dog in the townships.
We have
lost hope
to survive,but
we do it anyway.
We carry entitlement
on our backs
as if
our forefathers footsteps stepping on this land first
became our title deeds for our liberation.
Yes, I agree
Violence is a mark of every revolution
but not economical transformation.
Nothing will come for free.
It is such concepts that we need to understand first.
For us
to live to see
the African dream.
