One way.

My dreams are waiting on me.

They dance with joy as they hop and hold hands.

I am approaching, slightly pulled back,

By a strong tide of dull thoughts…

My heart jumps even more as I approach.

The more I get closer, the further my dreams are.

My feet are weary, and my shoes worn out.

My souls feels fortified as the spirit calls on me,

Towards my dreams.

My dreams are waiting on me.

My family is waiting on me.

The eyes of my sister are sleepy.

The strength of my father’s arms and knees is shaky.

The smile on my brother’s face wrinkles.

Perhaps I could lift a few weights and earn a few peanuts.

Will I then lose the sight of my dreams?

My family is waiting on me.

My life will remain as my life.

I will go down the path that feels,

Like the path for me.

With a job, I will be rich.

With my dreams, I will be wealthy.

But my family is waiting on me.

My dreams are waiting on me.

There can only be one way.
