It was just you and I

Unaware of time

Unaware that with time

Either of us shall depart

Either of us shall fly

To a different type of Earth

Where Angels are abundant

Where mistakes are forgiven

And where peace is provided

You are six feet under

But your soul is above the sky

They’d pronounced you dead

But your legacy is roared by thunder

I know that your death is a lie

For who can believe that you’re gone

Many have said that you’re no more

But in my mind, you’re still a big glow

Your heavenly words should forever snow

As you bless your God with a good show

With Angels lined on the front row

To hear you paint your earthly soul

For poetry was one of your many arts

For novelty was how you enticed

We may be apart

But deep, deep in my memories

is where you’ll always reside
