Laying down on a Hospital bed

body lacking movement

Feeling dead yet

I still feel oxygen enter my nostrils

All I could hear

was the beeping sound

of the machine beside me

Tubes annoyingly placed

on my nose

Needles painfully stuck

inside my vains

As I lay in the Hospital bed

The pain I felt!

The pain I felt was agonising

The pain I felt was unbearable

Is this still Life?

Or are the doors of

Death opening up for me?

My mind was all over the place

My heart was pounding in fear

Death was near

My soul was broken

as tears fell down

each night the lights went off

Tears which can only be seen

by the Angels of the heavens

Was I?

Was I going to die?

Was I going to live?
