Instead, you stood against me

You watched as I got broken apart 
You looked with no regret nor did you try to protest

I thought you cared but I guess you never did

Found it hard to believe that someone I cared for so much and called a friend could betray me 

But you were just like all of them who watched me drowning in the pool of my own tears

You are truly no different from the rest
