Life is just a constant routine.

A fake smile on my face that I always pin.

Acting a role,

I don’t always play.

Presenting the words “I’m fine” on a silver tray.

“I’m fine” is my only shield

To block the pain deep inside

As wide as a football field.

How I watch others around me having so much fun

But knowing that my happy story is already done.

“I’m fine” are the words I use to fit in

But in my soul,

Trickle down my chin.

Don’t mind me,

For these are only poem lines.

You can see in my smile that I am wonderful.
