I couldn’t walk anymore

After what I’d been told,

Perhaps something was I my ear

AND I didn’t hear properly

Or maybe he just had

A bad day that would soon end.

He didn’t just do

What I thought he did,

Not in the pouring rain

And certainly not in Paris.

I thought he brought me to bridge

To confess his love for me

But I guess it wasn’t so,

He left me in the cold.

How was I supposed to walk

When the man of dreams

Told me his heart was somebody else’s?

So I stood in the rain

As it poured down my face

Together with my tears.
