we all visit a salon once in a while,
Doing our favourate style or cut,
For us to walk with pride.
We sit an wait for our turn to come,
Listening to the latest music or news,
Or reading a magazine.
We remain loyal to the hair dresser,
And we are fulfilled only with his hands,
Because his touch always satisfies us.
Mostly we share a lot at the saloons,
Sometimes we overshare and never regret,
Cos we leave the saloon feeling lighter.
In this world we all carrying heavy hearts,
In this world we all walking wounded,
But the hairdresser never judge us,
He listen to our hurts and even offer solution.
The hairdressers remain our unpaid therapist,
They remain unrecognized psychologist,
Because they always offer us solutions.
Around them we feel free to share our challenges,
Around them we are free to tell our inner pains,
And they always put themselves in our shoes,
And try their best to give us their honest answer.
So let’s celebrate them and give them flowers,
Because their service is more than just hairdo,
They give us us free counseling without a charge.
So next time you visit your regular hairdresser,
Let him or her knw the impact s/he bring to your life,
And the positive difference s/he done so far,
And you too,…make him aware of his impact,
And that will reduce him to a belly laugh.
