GLIMMER OF HOPE

the blue skies cloud over abruptly

the wind is as loud as a howling wolf

the ocean lifts it’s arms to touch the shore

it’s going to rain

It’s going to rain unhatched eggs of bliss and perfect joy

enough to heavily flood my miserable life.

I sing tunes of hope without sound

in the hopes to lay this debt to eternal sleep.

Sleep?Sleep is foreign to myself

as thunder makes drumbeats for my happy feet to dance

I smile in pain and dance like a wild cat afraid of rain

as my heart of stone cracks and softens to the rhythm.

rhythm so loud,it thunders and deafens

until my bitter cries fade in the muggy air

the ice moon has melted.

it’s all so beautiful

the world has let me see beneath its beautiful.

beautiful metaphors and beautiful waters.

a glimmer of hope shines amidst all

a happy storm is approaching
