Awakening
I’ve walked through the quiet, where doubt once roamed,
But in your presence, I feel I’ve found my home.
Not in a rush, not in a fleeting touch,
But in the space we share, where we both mean much.
I’ve learned to trust the whispers inside,
To listen to what’s true, not what’s been denied.
Each moment I’ve left, each door I’ve closed,
Has brought me here, to where love’s supposed.
It feels unreal, like I’ve stepped out of time,
Into a rhythm that’s simple, yet perfectly sublime.
I never thought I’d find it this way,
But here we are, with no games to play.
This is more than the dream I’ve held in my mind,
It’s a knowing that’s grown, unspoken, yet kind.
When your hand finds mine, when our hearts align,
It’s as if we’ve always been destined to intertwine.
It’s surreal, yet it feels so right,
A love that blooms in the still of the night.
I’ve found what I’ve always known,
A truth so clear, it’s like I’m not alone.
