After I’m gone,

Remember my smile, as your tired eyes befall a mesmerising sunset.

My laughter with the cheerful chirping of the morning hummingbirds.

My solemn cries with the crashing of the tumultuous waves.

My gentle touch that caressed your days worries, like the trickling sound of a calming waterfall.

The smell of my favoured scent, as you pass through a valley of freshly cut and watered gardens.

My compassion in the grateful eyes of every animal rescued from the inevitable jaws of death.

My soft goodnight pecks, like the lost petals of every withering marigold, that sways in the soft autumn breeze.

After I’m gone…

After I’m gone,

with your mournful gaze, search for all the different pieces of me in every captured memory.

when you place my lifeless body in my eternal home,

After I’m gone…

Remember me…

As I once was, more than just a lifeless and nameless body in a hole.

Do remember my memorable soul.

Don’t shed a tear, A prayer would be more dear…

But as for now, I’m here and well.

But when I’m gone, I’m gone.

After I’m gone…

Remember me, like the earth holds memory of every tree rooted in it’s soil.

like a stump, as a reminder of a once forgotten tree

Just as such,

Remember me…

After I’m gone.
