We Africans, children of the continent,

We suffer, we heal, we rise, we invent.

We children of the mountains, high and grand,

Owners of the universe, with a rich cultural land.

We hail from different cultures, diverse and bright,

But we’re not ashamed to be Africans, we hold our heads high in light.

From East Africa to West Africa, from North to South,

We’ll unite and prosper, our bond will never wear out.
