I was embarrassed
I was humiliated
I was told that I’m ugly
By my own peer
I told her that
“beauty is one thing we are different in our own way”
But she kept humiliating me
She slapped me
I stood there & I did nothing
Those who were there were cheering her up
They were laughing
They stood there doing nothing
She stripped me of my dignity
Made me a laughing stock in front of my peers
And on social media
I was deeply hurt
I couldn’t take it anymore

I had dreams
I had hopes
A destiny to fulfill
But my life was cut short
All my hopes & dreams will never be fulfill
They left with me
My story should serve as a lesson
And may my words be remembered
