Old dusky morning so slow

As along this bumpy road I go

Twisting, turning forever burning

Wheels turning and burning too.

Old road where would you take me

Ever on you go calling me

Come hither, come hither

For I reach out for thee.

Far away and yet so close at bay

Lead me all the way I pray

Where upon your face I find

Please lay me bare for you to stare.

Oh, old road here is one just for you

Bumpy road you see you are no fool

Have this one just for you

And yes, I will have one with you too.

Well, hello my trusted friend

I know you will never end

A road that goes on until the end

So, to my lonely old road I lift my glass to you and say thank you.

For my journey so long upon you

My old trusted bumpy road

Cheers and cheers again to you

I love you old road.
