I would have smiled at you with no passion to be yours.

I would have looked at you and walked away with no regret at all. 

If I knew you wouldn’t be mine.

I wouldn’t have written poems about you and i in a place unknown by no man.

A place where you and I only belong.

If I knew you wouldn’t be mine.

I wouldn’t have painted your names in all corners of my heart.

With untold stories of us forever and always

If I knew that you wouldn’t be mine, we wouldn’t have quarrel 

Our altercation wouldn’t have taken place at first sight 

I would have saved my energy by being quiet 

If I knew that you wouldn’t be mine I wouldn’t have overrated your love 

If only I knew you wouldn’t be mine.

I would have friendzone you and never lead you on.

I would have made peace with destiny

That sometimes in life we don’t get all that we need.

I would have fallen for someone else and enjoy us being strangers
