Leaving my apartment, I walked out and hopped into my car. Ever since all that thing went down three years ago, I’ve been all about my business. I broke up with Tshepo and decided to focus on my relationship with Sipho, but sadly two Years after that Sipho died from a heart attack. I remember it like it just happened yesterday. After we had slept together Sipho started to complain about chest pains.

At first I didn’t take it too seriously, because it had happened before and it turned out to be gas built up in his chest. But we went to bed that night and I woke up alone. There lying in bed next to me was a dead body of Sipho. I couldn’t believe it. To this day I still have nightmares about how I laid next to a dead corpse all night and didn’t even know it, and yet on top I’m haunted by my best friend who I accidentally murdered after I had stole her boyfriend.

But even though Sipho’s death was a sad situation, some good came out of it. Unbeknownst to me Sipho had put all his assets in my name. So at the age of twenty-one, I was a rich girl all thanks to my blesser, Sipho, may he rest in peace. The very same day I drove down to Tsakane, headed to my mother’s house. I hadn’t seen her in years! Especially after she married her pastor husband who ran a big church. So when she called my phone telling me to come to Sunday night diner for a family meeting, I knew Something had to be up. A part of me hoped that this meeting was for all of us to reconcile our differences, but I knew better.
