Life in the rural black community as a LGBTQI member it has not been easy black people call it a curse ,sin many and so much more everyday living in fear of the unknown the name calling isitabane ,inkonkoni when would it stop.i remember when the president announced the same sex marriage bill the relief in our LGBTQI community and the hope we had at last we are part of the free south africans .all hope gone because of the abuse by individuals that are homophobic. Kanti where is our democracy where is our freedom ????our sisters our brothers die everyday we are raped everyday why?????? Just because we different we are humans after all just like you .You cant be infected just because i am sitting next you its not Aids.we are born like this “Black South Africans be educated.

Reading really liberates the way we grow to be thoughtful and considerate of others i believe it's not an issue of race, colour of your skin neither attributed from any kind of religious beliefs or life style it's just human nature but i guess the more we read we learn to educate ourselves as we become free from making falsified judgement and learn to live with each other without fear or twisted stigmas. Furthermore being able to deal with so much that life throws at us.
