We grew up staying with him along with my grandmother, I was still an infant when I had to move with them up until I started with my primary grades.

A kind hearted man

A respectful and respected man

A man who loves his children and his grandchildren equally without choosing sides, indoda emadodeni

Unfortunately I had to move back to Durban with my mother and leave him with my grandmother and other siblings.

I started with my higher grades, came a day I was in grade 11 it was Tuesday and I had to go to school ,when I came back in the afternoon and i was busy scrolling down my statuses I came across an “RIP dad” my father was the one who had posted it.

I just went cold, couldn’t move for a second and took a short giggle I had seen it was true but couldn’t or I can say I just did not want to believe.

What I did was just text my dad to confirm if the news are not fake or what so, to my surprise my dad replied “yes my dear child he has left us”.

I couldn’t believe but had to ,for a minute I just imagined my grandmother’s state how she is ,how will she be after his send off and our life after .that was his last day with us on this planet Earth.

Last words for you my grandfather:I want you to know where ever you are that we love you ,we miss you and we will forever love you, that you gone from our sight know that you will always be in our hearts , I Appreciate you being my big dad.
