I believe that in everyone’s life, there comes a point and time that life is hard and seems almost unbearable. All the great expectations people have for others and responsibilities a person is accountable for, makes it this way. At age 17, a junior in high school, I am able to say this, and have many examples to explain what makes it so difficult for me each and every day.

It starts when you hit your teenage years and everything about you begins to transform. Dealing with all the humiliating stares and laughter of your changing appearance can be embarrassing, but it’s up to us to remain confident and happy with ourselves. Waking up for school and going to bed late, after homework, can be tiresome, but in the end we proudly earn our diploma. Besides schoolwork, some teens are subject to getting a job to pay for their cell phone bills and car insurance, this of course making there nights even longer! After high school, the break doesn’t begin either! All the pressure of finding a career and going to college comes about, making you have to decide on what you want to pursue in life. For many teens, deciding on what you want to do could take years! I know that I’m not sure what I want to do for the rest of my life!

At the same time, keeping your family and friends happy can be difficult, because the available time you have to spend with them can be limited. But without further due, we must make the time because without these people in our lives, a person can’t get the extra support they’ll need in having these rough days. One key element to keeping yourself stable and successful is to have an inspiring positive attitude and trying your hardest at everything you go about doing. Feeling good about yourself and avoiding put-downs will also make a difference in how well you handle the many intricate situations you’re faced with each day.

As you can see, it comes down to you that controls how hard your life will be. The more involvement you’re in, the less time you’ll have, but at the same time, the more successful you can be. The harder you work at accomplishing something, the better you’ll feel about it once you’ve completed. No one can ask for any more than what you have in giving your best. I believe that every day no matter how hard it seems, that sometime in the coming future it will all pay off and I’ll be proud
