Love is unpredictable.

Love is calm, sometimes hectic but when you have patience everything always unfolds perfectly.

Thalita and Aubrey were goal-driven from a young age and they admired each other like nothing on earth. After high school, they both came out with distinctions and went to different well-recommended institutions. They were clever enough not to limit each other because of how much they loved one another, so they decided to go separate ways so that they could be able to reach their goals and if they are really meant to be they will always come back to each other. Fate will decide for them.

They kept the same energy for the first 6 months, calling and texting every single day, and from there they became strangers. They moved on with life as they were exposed to the new different environments and love was no longer the same.

THALITA

She met new friends from different places and they were all about the slaying, they taught her everything, from dodging lessons to Changing old men every week. She forgot all about her goals and family’s background, going out every day to clubs, and wearing mini-skirts and heels became her new norm. Before she knew it, she failed all her modules and lost her bursary. Then that was when she woke up from her fantasy world, but sadly she couldn’t tell her parents about losing her bursary because she knew they don’t have much. The nightmare of her life continued as she was evicted from student accommodations and had nowhere to stay, but her friends took her in for a while. But that only meant she had to start working overtime to earn more, Now she didn’t date older men for fun anymore but it became her reality. She was in it for the money to make a living.

AUBREY

As a young man from a poor background, he met a new girlfriend that was all about finer things in life. They started off as good friends and everything was just fine. Until the new girlfriend had to show him that she is not for sale, she needed finer things and they were not for sale. Chocolates, roses folded with money inside, date nights every weekend, new clothes and even girlfriend allowance. Aubrey lost himself trying to show his new girlfriend that he is the man, he looked for a side hustle that needed more hours than he could have, remember he was still a student. So Aubrey couldn’t kill two birds with one stone, because books need time, so he ended up failing to balance things, and he lost his bursary. Before he knew it, he was forced to join a group of young gangsters for to be able to keep surviving without having to ask money from his family, and by that time his new girlfriend vanished into thin air as he was no longer affording her lifestyle.

A year after the whole drama in both Thalita and Aubrey’s lives they both went back home. And they eventually got the shock of their lives when they bumped into each other as they were not appearing how they thought they would be, they became good friends again and picked up where they left off. But this time around they were solid like never before, they had to start from scratch together. Thalita sold snacks, while Aubrey opened a barbershop. They saved the money and now they opened a bigger store in the nearest town where they have employed at least 20 people and they have investments aside.

So love really conquered all between them.

From forgiving each other to facing all the insults and gossip from family and friends together. And finally, they have their own businesses.
