I know some of you always feel fear and anxiety in social settings for example; interacting with others, meeting new people etc. Sometimes these feelings may be anxious and vexatious which also triggers anxiety itself. But first let me give out the definition of social anxiety.
What is social anxiety?
Social Anxiety – Emotion. (Not to be confused with “Social Anxiety Disorder”
Social anxiety is the fear and/or anxiety in social situations. These includes and shows the difficulties with maintaining a conversation.
Symptoms showing Social Anxiety:
*Blushing or avoiding eye contact when spoken to.
*Uncomfortable around people you don’t know/Unable to speak (stuttering)
*Feeling nauseous and sweating
Treatment:
For social anxiety, antidepressants: selective serotonin, meditation and hypnotherapy helps.
