One day there was a family that lived in a farm. They had chicken, cattles, donkeys, and horses.
Zanele was the youngest sibling, who had two brothers and two sisters. Zanele loved taking care of the cattles and riding on the horseys, while she did not like the chickens and donkeys.
On a Saturday Monday Zanele’s Mother called her to feed the chickens and donkeys, but Zanele refused as she disliked donkeys and chickens.
Zanele’s Mother was worried about Zanele’s lack of care towards the donkeys and chicken. She then came up with a strategy to make Zanele love the donkeys and chickens. Zanele’s Mother went to the bookstore to get children story books based on chickens and donkeys, the wonky donkey and Tell The Chickens: it’s time for bed were more appealing to Zanele’s Mother.
At night time, Zanele’s Mother read wonky donkey for her before bedtime and Zanele loved it and had compassion for the donkey. After hearing the story, Zanele promised her mother that she will take of the donkeys tomorrow morning. And as morning came, Zanele woke up early in the morning with excitement and went to the donkeys’ shed and fed them fresh grass. Zanele’s Mother was very happy to see Zanele taking care of the donkeys and couldn’t wait to read another bedtime story for her.
At night time, Zanele’s Mother read her bedtime story “Tell The Chickens: it’s time for bed”, Zanele loved the story and couldn’t wait for next morning to tend to the chicken. Early morning, Zanele got up with excitement and ran to the children coops and released them, and led them to a big bowl filled with corns. Zanele’s Mother was happy to see that Zanele now loves all the animals in the farm.
Zanele continues to tend to all the livestock in the farm and was greatful that her mother helped her love all the livestock.
