Besides adverbial phrases of manner, time and place, there are also adverbial phrases of reason. Adverbial phrases of reason tell us more about why something happened/is happening/will happen. Example: Terrified of the storm, the dog ran away.

Adverbial phrases of time may include more than one adverb of time, for example: I worked as a waiter for two nights every week last year.  The adverbs of time are: two nights; every week; last year. When you have more than one adverb of time in an adverbial phrase, follow this order: 1. How long (for two nights); 2. How often (every week); 3. When (last year).
