Mom lies in bed. Lena’s on her way out.

Mom: Lena, have you messaged your uncle to see how he’s doing?

Lena: No, not yet. I’m leaving soon. I’ll message tomorrow.

Mom: Just one quick message, Lena. He’s always checking up on you when you’re ill.

Lena: (rolls her eyes and sighs) I’ll do it later. Bye, Mom.

Mom: OK. Be careful. Wear your mask and social distance and sanitise. Do you have sanitiser with you? And remember, no confined spaces. OK?

Lena doesn’t respond: she has left already. Mom sighs and looks slightly defeated.
