Lena sleeps and we see her nightmare unfold. Lena’s mom walks into her room and wakes her up. Lena looks at her mother and feels a lump in her throat, and a cold feeling come across her body. She looks at her mother and whimpers: “Please don’t say it. It can’t be. It can’t be.”
Lena’s mom just looks at her and then disappears. Lena screams and cries in her sleep. She suddenly wakes up, out of breath with tears rolling down her cheeks. She listens for any signs that her mom is awake, but all she hears is her mom snoring.
Lena breathes a sigh of relief.
Lena: It was just a dream. Thank God.
