“People in rural areas have the right, but not the confidence, to speak up about agrarian reform. As a result, their rights are constantly undermined. By helping them to speak with one voice on the issue of food security and sovereignty I am doing my bit to ensure that there is good-quality food on their tables at the end of every day.”

Davine Witbooi is an activist and community leader whose work with the Right to Agrarian Reform for Food Sovereignty campaign is helping farm workers, farm dwellers and landless people to know and use their rights.
