Lindiwe Suttle

Lindiwe Suttle’s time has arrived. With the launch of her debut album, Kamikaze Art, which premiered at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, Suttle’s star is blinding. A songbird known as much for her electro-soul sounds as her fiercely iconic style, she’s clinched the title ‘celebrity’ and a space in our music industry.

Leaving a career in styling stars like Beyoncé behind to pursue her passion, Suttle’s big break came in 2010 when she was spotted by German music legend Marius Mueller-Westernhagen. In connecting her with the right producer, she spent a year in Berlin writing and recording Kamikaze Art.

By using fashion to punctuate her performances and her MBA to build her brand, Suttle is proving that, beyond having the X-factor, she’s here to stay. Suttle’s future plans include a fashion label and, following in mom Felicia Mabuza-Suttle’s footsteps, a talk show.
