Chris then called it a night and went back to his apartment. He found himself gazing at the city lights through the window, his son already been tucked in by the baby sitter.

Thinking about the day with Lance, but even more so about Amber.

Contemplating if he had committed a sin to love her even though she belonged to someone else, he knew she was not in love with Lance, nor happy with him.

“Please believe me, I have fought with every fibre in me to not pursue her, or to at least reach out this soul that needs me, even though she didn’t call out to me physically, I just knew there was something,” he murmured.

Chris then decided to test the waters, he did not want to be the bad guy that wholeheartedly went out to pursue her.

“What if I met her halfway?”

“Give her 50 percent.”

“Then it would indicate to me if she wanted to come halfway as well to meet me there. Then it would be a joint effort to embark on something that we not yet quite sure of, but it is exciting as the new adventure that would be endless,” Chris mused as he thought out loud.

He then decided to email her. He realized he was being bold, but it was a risk he was willing to take.

It was quite easy to get the email of a young beautiful lady like herself, because she used to be into modelling and left her email for collaborations on her biography.

So, he got it and decided to write to her.
His email to her read:

Dear Amber,

I hope you are doing well and that your keeping safe.
You would not probably understand why I am writing to you, but maybe you would, because that what we experienced on the yacht…have you felt that way with Lance?
I know I might seem beyond my boundaries, but if that is what it takes to resuscitate your hope and desire for love again, that is a boundary I’m willing to cross over.
September 25. Friday at 12pm I will be waiting for you at the Golden Valley Park between the benches.
If you feel that I am wasting your time or that you do not feel the same way I do,
you don’t have to come
.

Yours respectfully,
~ Christopher
