There is no guard lowering.these woman they become wat they were not surpose to be.philosophycally,physically ,biologically ,psycologically n emotionally they r damaged. In all their relationship it's all about them,if not so they don't give a damn sh**t.
It's a really sad story that's also inspirational to other young girls out there that are facing the same challenges that she faced as a youngster

Amazing story,I hate people who sexually abuse women,coz my little sister was rape by a guy at the age of 8 yrs nd I stil hate that guy.If it was nt by this law think I wil kill this animal
I like the fact that this book is based on a true story. But it's also sad and pretty much educational.
Reading this introduction takes me back to an almost similar situation, being almost raped by a family friend.And growing up learning to trust,to love A man again. Tough situation. Lemme just get back to the story...??

In my opinion, Anele needs to erase her fear & trauma by being truthful to herself and honest to her new admirer or partner. (e.i), to explain the misfortune growing up as Lil' girl.
I am very certain that her boyfriend will accept her due to his unconditional love for her and his rational thinking.
Contrary to my view, it will definitely hunt her & caused damage to her built relationship in the future if she doesn't say the truth. It is biblically written, that one should say the truth & the truth shall set him/her free.
I think dat Thami will melt Anele's frozen heart by her being open nd unsecretive 2 him in order 4 her 2 find hlp nd happiness

It was a very sad story becouse others went through the same thing but they kept quiet about it and I hope the guy will make her happy not hurting her because he knows about her past others they use the past

I think Anele should go for some sort of counselling so that she can get all the help that she needs and for herself to be able to love and trust again . Thami might be of help to her but he cannot have the burden of saving her she needs to set herself free first so that she will have inner peace and forgive herself . its all about selflove first so you will be able to love other people around you ?
