Chunnu was an eight year old boy who lived in a village with his parents. He was expert in the art of sleeping and dreaming. No matter what time of the day it was; Chunnu could sleep.

Even if he had just woken up, he could sleep again in the next ten minutes. Even his mother had given up on his habit of dreaming.

While many people called him lazy but Chunnu knew he was not lazy. He just loved to dream. In his sleep he had the loveliest of dreams.

Chunnu felt his dreams were simply magical. He could do so many different things in his dreams and he was always so happy.

One day he dreamt that he was such a talented magician that he could convert the notorious school mouse into a plank of wood.

He saw he was surrounded by his classmates who admired and applauded his talent. Even the cleaner didi who was always annoyed with children smiled on seeing his magic.

Another day he dreamt that he was the best drum player in the locality. He could play drumbeats for different songs, even those which people watched on TV.

Chunnu dreamt he was like the hero of a movie who could effortlessly play the drum, sing and dance at the same time with the entire group of kids in his locality dancing to his tunes.
