It is finally spring and I personally adore these warmer days that we are having. But I’m sure the minute we have a really hot day I’m going to be begging for a little bit of rain and a light breeze! I thought this week I’d write a blog post about my top 5 favourite and most needed spring items…

1. Lip balm
Along with the warmer weather comes dry lips and that’s not a cute look! I love tinted lip balms for those days when it is too hot to wear lipstick or you want to look nice without the hassle of continuous lip touch ups all day – I know how annoying it can be! Labello Lip Butters are really nice – they are inexpensive and make your lips feel super smooth, plus they smell amazing!
2. Flower crown
I love flower crowns because they can change the whole feel of an outfit. A very simple dress or tank top and shorts can be turned into a cute, fun and flirty look with just a simple flower crown! What makes them even better is that they are very cheap and easy to make, all you need is a little bit of wire, some flowers and ribbon! 3. Sunglasses
I don’t think a spring look is ever complete without a pair of sunglasses – I know I can’t live without mine! What I love about sunglasses is that there is a pair for everyone; regardless of your face shape, haircut or personal style. A great pair of sunglasses can take your look to a whole new level, no matter what look you’re going for.
4. Kimono
Kimonos were a huge fashion trend last summer and I’m hoping that they will be back this season – either way I will still be rocking mine all season long! They are so great to just throw on over an outfit, especially during spring when there is often still a bit of a nip in the air. I love the chilled, boho look that a simple kimono can give to an outfit.
5. Statement necklaces
I must admit that I am a bit jewellery crazy but I just love the extra drama it can bring to an outfit. I wear statement necklaces all year round, especially in the warmer weather when you can really show them off, along with bright summer dresses and a cute pair of sandals. Statement necklaces can take any casual daytime outfit and transform it into a glammed-up look. What is there not to love?
