“He died because of his treachery. I hope you will not be like him. Look over there…” she was showing her a small, black purse, “That is a package needed to be delivered to the stated address inside it. All the tricks and instructions are inside that bag. Make sure you read them accordingly. The receiver is waiting for you. I will send him your picture. You will come back with another bag. Do not open it! Do not worry, you will be safe. One of my guards will escort you,” she commanded.

Mrs. Caine read the note carefully and did as commanded by the note. She met the receiver, the bags were exchanged, and she came back. All went well. It was the late hours when she came back, she was afraid to take out her phone to call her sender at this hour.

“She is expecting me. This bag is heavy. I wonder what is in the bag,” she stated silently. As she was approaching Mrs. Dlamini’s house, she heard a voice from the guard that escorted her, “You are safe now. Farewell,” he left. She entered the house and found no one.

“Mrs. Dlamini?” she shouted. Mrs. Dlamini was on the other side of the house on a call. She did not hear that there was someone in the house.

“Mrs. Dlamini I am back. Can you hear me?” Mariam shouted again.

Since she was getting no response from Mrs. Dlamini, she decided to enter a room close to her and leave the bag there. She left.

She arrived late at home when Georg was trying to sleep and hungry. He was deadly worried about her. She burst into the house heavily breathing.

“Mom, are you okay?” he questioned.

“I am okay. Let us sleep we will talk tomorrow,” she responded.

“Mom, I was deadly worried about you. What was holding you?” George asked.

“I am back! Now stop asking me thousands of questions. Now, go to sleep!” she commanded.

“Mrs. Dlamini is cruel. She is a murderer! She killed someone, cut his head, and put it in that box! That is what she does to her workers when she is tired of them. So, if she gets tired of me; she will kill me! My child is too young to be an orphan. I will never allow that. Maybe telling the police will be a better solution. She will rot in jail. I hope that box is still in that house. I will wake up early before she does and go straight to the police station!” she stated silently.

The next morning, Mariam headed to the police station. Fortunately, she found someone to help her. “I am here to open a case against the well-known Mrs. Dlamini,” those was her first words. The policeman questioned her. She told the policeman everything she saw.

“Alright mam, we will be after her” the policeman concluded and she left. The policeman moved out from the desk he was in, heading to his car parked outside, and called Mrs. Dlamini.

“Boss, we have a problem. There was a lady who came here and opened a case against you. Fortunately, I was the one attending her. She told me about the merchandise she delivered yesterday late, and the head of a dead person in your house. I believe she is still hovering the streets around the town.” The policeman reported to Mrs. Dlamini.

“Relax, Sipho. Someone is following her as we speak. We’ll eliminate her in no time,” Mrs. Dlamini responded calmly.

“Finish her!” Sipho hit his palm on the desk.

George was at home wondering where his mother was. She left without even saying,
“Goodbye Son. See you when I get back from work.”

George noticed she had left her handbag and her cell-phone. He took them and headed straight to the tavern.

“No son, she never came here,” one of the tavern”s workers responded.

“Should I leave these here?” George said.

“No, son. Take them with you. Maybe she will need them before she comes here.”

George rushed back to the house but still found the house quiet. Meanwhile,
Marry’s blood washed in the streets of Villiers, she was screaming and asking for help while everyone was moving away from her. He did not know that was her last supper of Mariam Caine.
