Herd boy spent his days living his life without meaning – love seemed to define him ever after. Through his eyes you could see the pain that was kicking from the inside, sometimes like a snow melting down his face in tears. However, it was not a mistake or a coincidence that they met.

He had no fears to live with: flames of his love towards her did not quench. Loneliness tested his faith sometimes but he was always strong in what he had. Love was all that mattered to him. He was not expecting to be loved back but he felt privileged to have someone in his life to live for and love without borders.

He felt it more like a destined life to be there by her side always. He had hope that he will see her again. Distance grew him tender and proven his weakness in love. Withholding his words from her came back to bite him, he wished he had every word spoken, every dance taken and every breath celebrated.

I realised that love should not withhold a thing but in everything to submit to each other. He spent his years away in a run towards her heart but he couldn’t reach at the time that he sat on his wall.

Distance dug him a grave: it really murdered his heart. He believed that distance was just a test on how far love could travel – he flattered himself but that couldn’t change the fact of ringing the sound of emptiness in his cage. Indeed distance does grow hearts fonder but I believe that hope fills the void.

Storms blew, oceans raged, clouds melted down; time passed by but there were no signs of the lighting strike. He thought he waited long enough but it was never enough until she came. I knew that sometimes rain wouldn’t come from the clouds that we hope for, but did it rain?

Eventually he fainted and decided to move on with his life but his whole happiness was left behind. It seems like sometimes we do it for a race that is a no-win at the end. Desires battled his heart and he lost. He moved on and began to develop a different perspective about love.

He thought waiting made him weak and not brave. I knew the brave wait patiently on what they believe in but the weak takes whatever comes their way and get lost in it.

Three years later after giving away all that he has built: now it rained but wet the wrong side of the grounds. Her days turned into a nightmare. With streams of tears gathering away down her face, she said no word but turned and never looked back.

Well, last time they stared there were no tears. Now it was her heart riddled with pains. It’s strange how things change. Yesterday was fun but today they couldn’t look in the eyes and tell how much they loved each other. Should we witness the say that says “everything has to change anyway”? Strange if that’s how they express it. She found a changed man.

Someone she thought she knew almost her whole life, only turned out to be a complete stranger over a night. Behind all her tears all he wanted to see was a true colour rainbow, her tears to stop from falling and hear the sound of a no broken heart. But the moment he wanted to make all things to work for good, was the moment he had to watch her leave.

Growing old together was now falling apart forever. Wind by wind the scent of her hair swayed goodbye. Down the narrow road he walked with his head wide. His tears falling in a bottomless pit – it wouldn’t change a thing. Love he had in its abundance to feed in a heart but this time he had to watch it spill all over his coat in tears. Being impatient and doubtful kindled all that he had.

Certainty was never rigid in him. Loneliness grew from the river dam of his wounded heart. They say good things come to an end, I say good things come to an end to those who make the things to end.
