I think David is nothing bt a heart breaker and he is also a womeniser,,,I think he met another girl who is extremely beautiful than grace and starts to loose interest in Grace,,,,,,,,,
I think David is a player and he had quite a number of girlfriends and he realised that grace was unbelievably in love with him and he decided to stay away from her being afraid of hurting her.. But he didn't know how to tell her because he was afraid to see the pain in her eyes. According to him that was the best option.
