Buhle was very positive and he knew that the situation he was experiencing, it was only a temporary one, not a permanent one. Buhle loved his job at the local NPO but he applied every week for a better job. With his positive mindset and a great attitude, for him, even the sky was not the limit. He even met his soulmate at this local NPO, Thando, he met his true love. Thando was so loving just like her name, and very passionate about people, just like Buhle. They made a beautiful couple.

“What is wrong, babe? You look worried,” asked Thando.

“Nothing, love… Actually, it’s my brother. I’m worried about the way he spends his money so recklessly,” said Buhle.

“Eish, that’s not good hey, but what else you can do? Nothing, love, as long you tried to give him advice, that is the best you can do,” responded Thando.

“I hear you, love,” said Buhle.

“Let’s forget about your brother, I’ve got great news here,” said Thando.

“What it is, love?” asked Buhle.

“Remember the job interview that I told you about?” asked Thando.

“Yes, what’s happening, you got the job?”

“Yes, I got a job, love. You are looking at the new social worker at Sizanani Rehab!” Thando said, with a beautiful smile.

“Oooh! I’m happy for you. Well done, sthandwa sami,” Buhle said, with excitement.

Buhle became embarrassed around Thando, because as a man, he needed to spoil Thando and be the one who paid bills at the restaurant, but Thando was always supportive, and they tried to talk about the situation.

“I will always love you and respect you and I know that, as you always say, this situation is not permanent but only temporary. Our love is strong. This relationship relies not on 50% and 50% partnership, neither 70% and 30%, but 100% partnership. You are my soulmate, wena,” said Thando.

“Thanks, love. Your words are beautiful and magical just like you, you are a precious gift from God. I love you, my love, you are amazing,” said Buhle. Then he kissed Thando.

Love is beautiful indeed. Thando found an apartment to rent, and she offered to move in with him and Buhle accepted the offer. Buhle also got a call from his job interview at the local hospital, Mamelodi Hospital, for the sociologist intern post. He made it and got the job. Things were getting better for Buhle.

Senzo enjoyed his life with friends and different girlfriends and, of course, he lived his life to the fullest as he claimed. One day he realised that he was left with only a few thousand in his account.

“No, it can’t be, where are my millions? I can’t be left with this change, what happened?” he asked himself.

Senzo was surprised. He forgot that he spent his money like water. He asked inside the bank about his finances, they showed him a bank statement. He felt like it was the end of his life. Buhle had left him because he could now afford to rent an apartment with his girlfriend.

“I regret how I treated Buhle, my younger brother was trying to enlighten me,” said a worried Senzo. “I’m even afraid to call him. What must I do?”

Senzo was worried about his finances and he didn’t know how he would survive. His friends started to notice that his finances were bad. They dropped off one by one, like when the leaves fall from the tree when autumn kicks in. Senzo tried to call his friends, but the calls rang without being answered.
