Five months have passed and the crew is ready to depart. The king issues an order dispatching his army to go to the realm of Candy Bread Land, north to Castle Wheat for war. It is at this moment that Captain Gunqu discovers underwater vessels. King Vecarro explains that for one to pass without suffering any casualties in the Sea of Terror, underwater travel is efficient for this purpose.

They reach the shores of the Sea of Terror and disembark on the Deadlands, the periphery of west. This land is vast and outstretched, in a state of dilapidation resembling an aftermath of war, with random minor volcanic eruptions from numerous points. It is in here where the soul crystal is hidden in secret. A green light radiates from the necklace, changing from red; this indicates that they are close to the three objects of power.

Alarmed by this, Fries send in advance an ancient farrow he resurrected with the dark force to halt them in their quest.

This farrow was tall built with four arms on either arm, it held archaic swords of war. These four arms allowe it to fortify both its front and rear. Agent Mashmello a formidable archer fires an arrow at the farrow, with its blades it counters the short. King Vecarro advises that the enemy has no visible weaknesses to exploit and suggests that an onslaught is congenial in the circumstances. King Vecarro in attack stance presses a charge. This inspires the rest of the crew to follow him. The farrow meets them head on in attack. This farrow has superior fighting skills, it is agile with sharp reflexes. It unleashes a dangerous backflip kick on Agent Mashmello knocking him out.

The crew disperses from him, King Hintsa sends a covet message gesturing to cut off its arms.

Princess Damas attackes, the farrow swings both its blades from the right arms at her, she dodges under its arms. This is when she realises that it is weak from attacks stemming under its upper body — this is the weakness they wanted. Princess Damas severes off its arms and the farrow is left defenceless and defeated.

With their triumph over the farrow, the dust settles in the battlefield, this accords to them ample time to excavate the soul crystal buried under the roots of the oak tree. They dig relentlessly until it is discovered. A transparent stone of mesmerizing seductive beauty glistening with pure light. King Hintsa plucks it out and merges it with the necklace of myth. With this union it decorates into a bright red colour solidifying its beauty more.

They march further west, deep into the Deadlands, when suddenly they find themselves stranded on a hill. The necklace begins to flash a blue light pointing to the other side of the hill, this signifies the location of the valley of mystery. From below the hill lay a hot soup of volcanic lava, its heat so hot that it generates a steam of fog masking the path to cross to the other side.

This path is comprised of concrete poles each separated by a gap of 10 meters. The poles are so thin that each could accommodate only one full size foot and barely visible as a result of the misty fog of steam, only its edges are in sight. King Hintsa leaps and land on the first pole, his body mass prompted the pole to descend. This leaves them in a conundrum, King Hintsa without delay promptly leaps to the other pole and the others, trailing one another behind in succession. This exercise puts tremendous strain on their legs and thighs. They all land safely in the valley of myth.
