Just as they thought they had circumvented danger, a storm began to form beneath the sea, 100 meters close to their ship. They could see the brewing storm indicated by flashes of cracking thunder, a vortex began to form in the water and was pulling the ship. Captain Gunqu in an attempt to avert this danger employs a strategy to navigate out of its periphery sphere, but its force is too strong. He decides to orbit in the vortex in a futile attempt to divert the ship to safety.
Reconciled with the ship sinking, Captain Gunqu bursts out in laughter and mutters the words, “I embrace my death for I have conquered my foe and worthy to reunite with my wife and children in the afterlife.”
Agent Mashmello sighs, “When will this nightmare end?”
They all laugh in unison for none fear death.
The ship is submerged in the vortex; they reach the eye of the storm. The whole crew is partially blinded by flashes of the rumbling thunder when their ship resurfaces on a river — through the eye they were transported to another realm.
This is a peculiar land full of life and vigour with beautiful animated landscapes, blue, green and yellow mountains and a multitude of streams and waterfalls.
They encounter a lady fishing by the river bank. King Hintsa is enchanted by her beauty and elegant grace. Her exquisite features and charisma hypnotise him to be in harmony with the serenity of nature. The women, noticing an acute synergy growing within herself and him, chuckles with a smile.
Commander Biscuit interjects, “My lady what is this land and where are we?”
“You are in the World within Worlds. I am Princess Damas daughter, of King Vecarro, ruler of the Vikaz, lord and protector of this land. What brings exotic creatures like you here?” Princess Damas enquires.
As she spoke she exuded an aura of imposing confidence and surety, this provoked further admiration from King Hintsa. Commander Biscuit proceeds to furnish her with details of their quest and how they came there. She is reluctant to believe this story and regards it as fabrication and deceit, until Hintsa vindicates the credibility of the story by adducing the necklace of myth to her. She finally succumbs and takes them to the king, to the Lands of Karllos.
On their journey King Hintsa probes her about the soul crystal, to which she informes him that the crystal is not in their realm, but that they are in possession of a map with its precise location. In their conversation King Hintsa discovered that time in the World within Worlds operated differently, in here a year is equivalent to an hour on Candy Bread Land.
They arrive at Castle Karllos in ample time and are ushered into the quarters of the king. King Vecarro is delighted to see them, upon hearing their story he agrees to give them the map of the location of the soul crystal and assists them to return to their world and resume the mission
“There is one simple condition, you will receive training for five months in the art of combat of the Vikaz and that me and my daughter, Princess Damas, join you in your adventure.”
The king explained that the Vikaz are inherently a warrior race and that they were famished for battle. King Hintsa knew that he needed all the help he could get for a face off against the ominous forces of Tyrant Fries. He agrees to this proposal without much contemplation. For him this is an opportunity to solidify his connection with Princess Damas, to learn about her culture and integrate with her people and most importantly enhance his combat skills.
