Once upon a time, in kingdom far-far away, there lived a handsome Prince named Barća. He lived there together with his royal family, and he had everything he ever wanted, except for love. Because of this, he longed for a maiden he would fall in love with and live happily ever after with.

In order to find the love of his life, Prince Barća went on a long quest, but he could not find her. He searched far-and-wide, meeting maidens who would chop their hands off just to get his hand in marriage. While he was on his quest of seeking for the love of his life, he met a Princess in distress. She was about to be married off to one of the richest men in her kingdom without her consent.

After they met, the Prince and Princess eloped to the city, where they started a new life together away from their kingdoms. As each day went by, the two young royals started falling in love with each other. The Prince was handsome and he had the finest taste in clothes. The Princess, on the other hand, had only the gown she had worn when she ran away.

While the Prince was in the city, he realised that there were far too many beautiful maidens there. There were beautiful, royal girls who wanted to sink their claws into this handsome, fine-looking Prince, and they went from wall-to-wall. Despite all the temptations, though, Prince Barća and Princess Tamara married each other, and they hoped to live happily ever after.

After some time, Prince Barća returned to his kingdom to tell his family about his new wife, but unfortunately, the King had already arranged a wife for him.

The woman the King had arranged for the Prince to marry was Princess Yvonne, and she was from the Southern Kingdom. The King then forced the Prince to give him an heir from Princess Yvonne, ignoring the fact that he already had a wife.

The King and Queen never liked Princess Tamara, and they treated her like a commoner, handing her the royal servants’ duties and responsibilities. Despite the bad treatment, though, Princess Tamara stood by her husband and accepted the fact that she had to share him with Princess Yvonne.

Prince Barća never liked Princess Yvonne, but it seemed like the only way for him to impress his father was to marry her as his second wife. The King, on the other hand, never recognised Princess Tamara as her daughter in law, and he never even treated her as someone with royal blood whatsoever. After a while, this ill treatment became too much for Princess Tamara to bear, and Prince Barća realised that in order for him to protect his wife, they had to elope again, leaving Princess Yvonne behind.

When Prince Barća and Princess Tamara got back to the city, they went to live their lives the way they wanted to.

The young Prince was able to find a job at a jewellery shop that belonged to a friend of the King. In the shop, he worked alongside Amber, the jeweller who was a gorgeous young woman from one of the richest families in the city. She had a crush on the Prince, and she was the one who had convinced her father to employ him. What she did not know was that Prince Barća was already married.

While they were working together, Amber kept giving the Prince signs and telling him how much she wished to be a Princess, but the Prince never showed any interest in her. One day, Amber came to work wearing a beautiful, expensive gown and a tiara that looked as if it belonged to a princess. Prince Barća became charmed, so he took her out for dinner as soon as they knocked off, and one thing led to another.

The following morning, after the two of them woke up under sheets at a hotel, Prince Barća rushed home, forgetting his ring at the hotel. Amber then found it, and she became upset that the Prince already had a Princess, and hid the ring.
