It takes a village

It takes a village to raise a child and that is the foundation, so whatever materials you will use they’re the only determining factor of whether the foundation will stand the test of time or not. Everything that you were taught grows with you, it becomes part your character in the long run. So instilling the value of things at this early stage is vital.

The minute you instil that mentality, they grow up understanding the value of life. Most children of this age exchange sounds, facial expressions, or gestures with a parent or caregiver. They listen to conversations and repeat some vowel and constant sounds, we are products of what we watch, read, and listen to.

The key thing about ECD is that you need to teach kids how they want to learn, not how you want them to learn. When you’re not taught how you want to learn you become rebellious. Knowledge and wisdom should be our primary objective when raising kids. Knowledge is power, and power is priceless. So sharing knowledge is sharing power. Kids usually mimic what their parents or caregivers do so their priorities are materialistic things, and validation from friends and family. And those should start from within.

To everything there is time and season. So be clever like a serpent and be humble as a sheep. Where there’s order there is progress and in the absence of order victory is impossible. So an obedient man or woman is bound to lead. Understand that discipleship is more important than relationships in your growth.

Drop a tear, blood, and sweat now, so you can live in peace later. The relevance of a tool is when it meets the need it was created for. Your tool determines the type of your battle. Refuse to conform to your environment. Young person, compete with your past, not with your peers.

Work on being a better person, first understanding that prosperity is not some kind of destination, or location. No, prosperity is who you are. Embrace your knowledge because you are what you think and know. God kept the promise He made to the Israelites, but He did not do it overnight, only because they wouldn’t have known God. Their need drew them closer to their source of being.

Understand the thing is when you’re facing a battle line, know you are at a place of exchange. The vision is for an appointed time. The end would not lie. So in closing I’d say invest in intellect, it gives you more options. Words are the only offensive tool in your arsenal to cut through adversity. So no man has ever gotten better than his words.

Obedience is very much important. He who obeys will be obeyed in return – hence it is important to find yourself and be the best of that particular you. Action is evidence of faith. Save for what you want, and trust the process.
