When I got outside I called Mahlodi.

I didn’t think Dr Mamabolo was going to manage dealing with me. She was so confused that she had even looked for the pen that she held with her hand. She was dealing with Thabo here a.k.a Sthibo, Thibang! Thibang! The T-Man.

Dr Mamabolo needed a double degree, double honours, double masters and double doctorate to deal with me; because I am double-trouble. I was her psychologist that day. I had skills but qualifications dololo.

That’s what I was thinking when I was going to meet with Mahlodi where we had parked our taxi that might somehow become our bedroom. Hehehe…I just can’t imagine.

I found her waiting for me at the taxi and we both got inside and steered home.

“May I call you whenever I want?” I asked on the way.

“Yeah there’s no problem,” she replied.

“Which side of Mountain View are you located?”

“The first street opposite of Makgoka high school there’s a pre-school with a pink house.”

“Eh… Are you from the Malatji family?”

“Yes, who do you know from my family?”

I just stopped the taxi and told her that I needed to pee, but it was just an excuse. I nearly fainted, I thought I knew this girl. Something very bad happened a few years back, between myself and her sister.

I told her that I knew her little brother when I got back in the taxi. I also told her that he and I played soccer together. I was playing for the All Stars and he played for Mountain View Team, we met at soccer matches. But that wasn’t the truth I just knew the guy but we never came close to each other.

I had once dated her sister, Khomotso Malatjie. She was going to school at Makgoka. Khomo told me about her little sister who was going to school at Midrand in Gauteng. It must have been Mahlodi. Khomo had my baby and we broke up because I did not want to tell my parents about her baby. I was doing matric by then and I already had another baby at Mamatsha with a girl called Mosima and my parents were maintaining Mosima’s baby.

I know I was wrong but it wasn’t easy for me to put such an embarrassment on my parents for the second time. Khomotso died in 2013 and I went to the funeral but her parents were never introduced to me, so I was just a stranger, one of the people who just came to the funeral.

That’s when I saw a lady like Mahlodi. But she was not as hot as she is now. These chicks are just growing like chickens. This one, I had to make a quick move on her before she revealed all my secrets and tricks! That’s what I was thinking on my way home, after dropping her at her crib just to ensure that it was true and yes it was all true. She was my late ex-girlfriend Khomotso’s sister.

My late “Black Beauty”. She had loved me so much that she would sometimes bunk classes just to come and see me at my place. I missed her, I really did but now I might have just found her replacement.
