On Monday morning, everyone in the house is preparing for both school and work. Monday mornings are always stressful for them, and Noluntu knocks on the bathroom door while Azingca is taking a bath.

“I need to pee,” Noluntu begs.

“Enter,” Azingca responds with a moody tone.

“So are we gonna talk about what happened at the table last evening?” Noluntu asks.

“There is nothing to talk about. Did you not say you wanted to pee? I need to bath properly without being distracted,” Azingca responds, sounding annoyed.

“Yes, I do need to pee, but I also wanna know what is up. Come on, tell me!” Noluntu begs.

“Would you date someone who has the same clan as ours?” Azingca asks, whispering.

“Wait, what? Do not tell me that Lwazi has the same clan as ours,” Noluntu responds, and her jaw drops.

“Get up and pull up your pants. This is weird,” Azingca comments.

“I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!” Noluntu says, flushing. She then closes the toilet seat and sits on top of it.

“I still have not asked him about it, though,” Azingca confesses.

“Then where did you get that information from?” Noluntu asks.

“On his Facebook comments,” Azingca responds, drying her feet and getting out of the bath.

“Well, you have …” Noluntu says, but a loud and sudden opening of the door disturbs them. Out of shock, Azingca drops her bath towel while Noluntu quickly jumps into the bath fully clothed.

“This secrecy you two have …” Zukiswa says, warning her daughters. “You are now supposed to be eating breakfast, but yet here you are, still in the bathroom and not even dressed,” she observes. “I do not even want to talk about you, Noluntu,” she adds, and then shuts the door and leaves.

“Do you think she heard us?” Azingca asks her sister.

“I do not know, but I do not think so,” Noluntu responds while throwing her clothes on the floor.

Tell us: Do you think Azingca needs to confront Lwazi about her discovery?
