There is always a first time for everything, and the first time is not always a good experience. It can be disastrous or embarrassing. For a number of young boys or young ladies, this is often the case the first time they fall in love. Some begin to date in their early teens, while others will experience love in their late teens or early twenties.

In any village there is usually that one guy who is actually slow at everything, especially when it comes to chasing after girls and falling in love. Tieho was no exception: he got his first girlfriend when he was twenty. Most of his friends got their first girlfriends when they were between twelve and fifteen. But when he finally started to fall in love, he acted fast.

From a young age, Tieho began experiencing strong feelings towards the girls at school. When he was fifteen, he decided to patiently wait until he finished school before he would get a girlfriend. While pursuing his studies in high school, he felt a huge crush for a few girls, but he never took the initiative to propose love to them. He never found himself fit to have a girlfriend while in school.
Tieho assumed that he was not good enough for them, and so he did not want to fool himself by indulging in a relationship that would soon fail. He was not comfortable about the way he dressed, so he presumed that the girls he fancied were, too, feeling sceptical about his attire.

Although Tieho had a charming face, he resented his old clothes; especially his pants that always had “stop lights” (patches) on his buttocks. He believed that staying single would save him from potential embarrassment when girls saw his clothes up close.

Tieho was a timid guy: he feared any form of embarrassment. Therefore, any embarrassment in front of people, particularly young ladies, was too heavy for him. So, he opted to wait to get a mistress until he would be looking smart, and that would be after leaving high school.
He anticipated that he would find a temporary job that would pay him enough money to buy some exquisite attire. Thereafter, he would start dressing to kill so that he could be well presented and get the attention of the girls he admired.

After completing high school, things ran smoothly and according to his plans. He got a job in a local garments store. He saved the little money he earned there and bought the stylish clothes he always wanted. He began looking good and his confidence was boosted. Then he was ready to search for his ideal woman; someone he would feel comfortable around.

He was mindful that his former high school crushes were no longer available because some left immediately after graduating from high school and were now pursuing their studies in different tertiary institutions in other towns. Then, he totally had to forget about them and look for new girls within his reach.
