Lerato is in bed with her man. It’s a lovely Sunday. The birds are singing outside, and it’s warm outside. It’s said Sundays are for lovers.
Lerato is on the phone with Kayla.
“Let’s meet at Café Coffee by 3 pm. I’ll be wearing a white dress with sunglasses,” Kayla says over the phone.
“Babe, I wonder where this woman got my tens. She wants to talk to me about Justin. But what if that jerk will be there too?” Lerato says.
“Calm down, I’ll come with you just in case. I don’t trust him at all with my woman,” he says as he kisses her cheek.
The day goes on. Lerato bathes and wears her grey Nike tracksuit and Nike sport takkies. Lethu wears his black shorts and a basic white T-shirt.
They drive to Café Coffee where Kayla will meet with Lerato. When they arrive there, Kayla is indeed wearing a white dress. She raises her hand to indicate to Lerato it’s her. She is light-skinned and pretty, but not prettier than Lerato. The two women are different, so their beauty differs too.
Lethu waits in the car because Justin is not there. It is Kayla alone. It will be a woman-to-woman talk.
“Hi, tell me what you said you want to tell me,” Lerato says, with no sign of being amiable on her cute face.
“Hey, I am Justin’s side chick. I want you to divorce him so that he will marry me,” she replies.
“HAHA, I don’t care, hun. I know he has a side chick. Tomorrow my lawyer will be throwing divorce papers in his face!” she replies.
“If you say so, then. You are pretty, by the way. Thanks for coming. I can’t wait to have your position soon,” she winks at Lerato.
“Thanks, but no thanks for wasting my precious time. You expected me to cry ‘cause you are a whole side dish. If you were near my level, I was gonna shake, but you’re not near my level, so lemme get my ass outta here. Bye, side chick to a psychopath,” she says.
Lerato laughs, stands up from the chair, and walks back to the black G-Wagon. She heard it with her own two ears that Justin is cheating. Things are promising that he will finally agree to divorce her!
